| I was taught in the seminary that one must
be open enough to be converted to any Truth we hear. It is the “Truth”
that becomes the driving force of discarding our erroneous past belief
and accepting the universal, eternal Truth. We must be honest and
sincere in seeking the actual, historical, Truth of our destiny.
Some of us may be sincere in holding on to the wrong beliefs because
of our tradition, customs, or way of life. But once the Truth hits
us and awakens us out of our sleep, we must discard the old ways
and follow the Truth path. This is what the conversion is all about.
Any religion should allow anybody to change their perception of
truth to any religion of Truth anytime, and allow them to practice
their new religion openly.
The religion which uses force as a means to prevent voluntary conversion
is not a religion at all, and it only proves that it tries to cover
up its lies. Freedom to seek Truth and to be converted to that Truth
is a basic human right. We must abandon such religions that breaths
violence and Threat. Study all religions, seek all religions as
though you want to be converted, and if you are convinced, feel
free to be converted to their Truth. Then come out of your closet
and shout out that Truth from your house top to the whole village!
Don’t keep that Truth a secret like a coward! May the Lord
open your eyes to see the real Truth in your life.
