“You shall not make unto you any graven image,…..you shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord your God am a jealous God…” (Exodus 20:4,5)
It is so beautiful to see the
newly wedded couple. They always give the undivided attention
to each other. But after some time, the man starts drifting
away slowly, and he begins to enjoy doing certain things without
his beloved wife. Then the usual drama happens. The wife blames
the husband for neglecting her. There is something so beautiful
about women!

We can explain ‘confidence’
as the feeling of being able to handle a situation, or being
comfortable in a situation. The dictionary defines it as trust
or faith that a person or thing is capable.
We are confident with ourselves (self confident) when we have
full understanding of the situation, have had prior experience,
dealing with our own immediate family and those we trust,
think/know that we are superior to those around us. Our confidence
is low when we are in a new, unfamiliar situation, we are
among people we don’t trust or know, or we have an inferiority
complex.
Anger is a natural
emotion which wells up within us when we perceive some injustice.
It is an emotion that can be used for good or for evil. How
we react to our anger determines whether we are sinning or not.
A few years ago, there was an Australian missionary in India,
Graham Staines who was burnt to death along with his two sons
by a mob. Can you imagine how much anger his wife and daughter
must have felt at their loss?
