“Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John15:13)

Covenantal Friendship   Special Programs this month
Jesus loved us so much, He laid down His life on the cross as a propitiation for our sins. He initiated this New Covenant through His blood so that we can be redeemed, and be His everlasting Friends! This kind of Biblical covenantal friendship is totally different from the human understanding of friendship.

Woman of God   Youth Corner
Ready for God’s Call—Mary’s Quiet Trust Luke 1: 26-38, 46-55   Soul Food
This book set me thinking – what sort of a woman am I? Am I allowing God to work His plan in me or am I pulling back from Him? Will I be able to thank God for the beautiful woman He has created? When we look at women of God who seem to have it all, we think,’ I wish I could be like that’. How did they get there? They went though a process of surrender, studying the Word and allowing God to work in them and through them. The purpose of this study is to allow God to work in us so that we can become more and more the woman God wants us to be- totally compliant to His will, so that He can use us more effectively.   You’ve probably heard that saying a hundred times. Is it really true? Are you really what you eat? If that saying were literally true, I would look like a combination of Palak Paneer, Kashmiri Lamb Kabob, and Eggplant Parmesan with a side of angel hair pasta. You would not want to see that!

The Lord has done great things for us
It was 2nd March 1998. My son Joy was riding his motorbike in Goa, on a lonely road when the front tire burst and he hit a pole. He had a deep head injury. One of our neighbors who was passing by took him and admitted him in the hospital. Our church prayed for him and he recovered from the accident.
