Paul wrote these powerful words to the Corinthian church to remind them that they really needed to reconcile with God and with each other. There were jealousies, divisions, and contentions because of their pride. Modern Christianity is also heading in the same direction.   December 17 at 5 PM- Caroling and Family Night

Gentleness   Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?
Before coming to Thessalonica, Paul had spent time in Philippi where the response to his message had been good till some Jews stirred up trouble and Paul and Silas were forced to leave. Paul had planted the church with some believing Jews and a lot of Gentiles.   It’s Christmas time again. Most of us are making lists, buying gifts, dropping hints as to what we want and waiting to open our gifts on Christmas day. There is an air of anticipation and excitement. Some of us find our elders and parents not as enthusiastic as we are. We may even constantly hear them griping about how Christmas has been commercialized.
